When I had my oldest… almost 12 years now, I had a million things I didn’t know how to navigate without fumbling around like many new parents do. There were things that just baffled me and completely left me wondering how was I going to handle many of the situations babies can throw us into without a moment’s notice.
One of them was trying to find a good place to change a diaper. When my oldest boy was born, there was no such thing as “family bathrooms”, “diaper changing stations” or any of the new things that have been created to make our lives easier. Trying to change a diaper at a mall was especially awkward. I could never find any place convenient to change a squirmy baby.
That is why I am thrilled to have found The BabyDeck Stroller. The BabyDeck is different from any other stroller I have ever seen (and after having four children, I have seen, used and been through many strollers). This innovative stroller is the first of its kind to solve my first problem as a new parent… Where to change the baby.
The BabyDeck is built like any other stroller, with one unique concept: the seat folds out to create a longer surface for changing diapers! It’s fairly simple to operate too. All you do is recline the seat, flip the seat lock to the unlock position, lift the baby’s bottom and fold out the extension.
At first I didn’t think it was that easy but after checking out the BabyDeck website, I found that not only is this fairly simple to operate but there are no extra parts or pieces involved. When you’re done changing your baby’s diaper, you can fold the extension back up, relock the seat and return the back to an upright position.
I am not one to tout something I don’t believe in so let me be the first to tell you that after almost 12 years of parenting and thousands of dollars in diapers, this has to be the easiest way to change your baby’s diaper. Everything is right there and the baby never has to leave the comfort of his or her stroller. Now I ask you, what more could you ask for? Be sure to keep an eye on the BabyDeck Stroller, it’s slated to make its debut in January 2008 – just in time for all the New Year’s Babies.
Oh and did I mention that one of the best things about the BabyDeck is that it’s created by a mom and dad? Now why didn’t I think of that!
