Twice last week I found myself in the position of having Peanut out and about when what happens? Oh yea… We have poop. Luckily I had my diaper bag but unfortunately for Peanut, I had NO PLACE TO CHANGE HIM. That meant folding down my front passenger seat to recline as far as possible so that I could lay him down and get a quick diaper change. I couldn’t change the fact that there was a chill in the air but I could have made him more comfortable. Because everyone knows that a baby that is comfortable it’s easier to change them.
I talked before about the new
Baby Deck stroller and its convenience but you never really know convenience until you don’t have it do you?
I found myself wishing I had the
Baby Deck stroller with me again when I took the kids out to a meal at a well known family restaurant chain last week. Bug insisted that Peanut was again stinky and so off we headed to the lady’s room to see what was amiss.
I was thrilled that it was just a gassy boy I had on my hands. The diaper changing station we found looked a little dirty, the straps to secure the baby looked like they had been encrusted with the day’s special and there was no changing pads to lay Peanut on.
So we checked standing up – How messy do you think that could have been? Even after four children I still haven’t mastered changing a standing wriggly toddler.
There isn’t a lot a parent can do in situations like these. However, knowing that you child is on a safe and clean surface is a definite bonus when you are changing a diaper in a public place.
That’s why I love that the Baby Deck Stroller has no extra pieces to install when you do need to change a diaper. The back reclines and the seat folds out to fit your baby while he or she is in a reclining position. Not only that but you have a lap belt so that you can keep the baby strapped in while you are changing the diaper… Similar to what a changing table at home would have.
Probably the most important is that unlike the unclean diaper changing stations in most public places is that when the seat folds out on the Baby Deck Stroller, the surface is made of a water proof pad – ideal for changing diapers on because you don’t need to worry about ruining the fabric from any impromptu accidents during the diaper change and the pad can be wiped down when there is an accident!

You just can’t beat the portability and convenience of having your own personal diaper changing station no matter where you are or what situation you are in and the Baby Deck Stroller provides you with both!
