It's so exciting to have Readers :) I've often wondered the same thing myself... I had my first at 22 and my second at 28, so the big time gap left room for lots of maturing. I'd say yes, my greater confidence in my parenting ability today has more to do with my age (and maturity level compared to age 22) than number of kids. But that's just me...
