Bella Sara Giveaway!

Oh that’s right, I’ve been planning this one for a while now.

Bebe and I received Bella Sara trading cards in the mail a few weeks ago and were asked to review them. If you’re already thinking about Christmas (I know some of you out there are already done with Christmas shopping) and stocking stuffers, these are perfect!

There are seven cards in a pack and each one retails for about $2.99 each.

About Bella Sara:

Just like all expectant mothers, the mares of North of North eagerly await the arrival of their new foals. On October 7, the magical world of Bella Sara horses will expand with the debut of Baby Bella – new trading cards featuring the babies of the wildly popular Bella Sara horse family. Like all of the collectable Bella Sara trading cards, Baby Bella cards can also be brought to life online in Bella Sara’s virtual playground for kids.

Bella Sara, the most successful trading card product ever developed for girls, features horse-themed fantasy cards that offer positive, inspirational messages. Each card, purchased in packs of seven, includes a unique code that activates a virtual version of the horse pictured on the card at the Bella Sara website. Bella Sara taps into young girls’ love of horses and offers them the ability to nurture their virtual horses in their online stables, read stories and play games featuring horses. Bella, the icon of the brand, is a legendary horse in North of North and also appears as a teacher nurturing the young foals.

Adding babies to the Bella Sara family follows on the hooves of the June launch of the Bella Sara Magical Friends card set, in which more than 70 whimsical, lifelong companions were introduced and paired with Bella Sara horses.

“Babies make our Bella Sara families complete and give our young fans a much broader game experience,” said Peter D. Adkison, CEO of Hidden City Games, a leader in online gaming. “Expanding the Bella Sara world to include Baby Bella characters enriches the storyline and allows kids to further explore the rich and growing fantasy land of North of North while also conveying strong family values,” he said.

The new Baby Bella collection includes a total of 129 new cards: 80 regular horse cards consisting of 22 parent cards, 48 foals and 10 teachers; 37 shiny horse cards; and 12 regular toy cards. Parent cards depict the mother and father horses from past series, foal cards show their beautiful offspring and teacher cards reveal the caretakers that help the foals learn and grow. For the first time, fans can collect and activate each member in a horse family and earn special online rewards.

We love these cards! Bebe opened hers right away and began entering the codes at bellasara.com. She can care for her horses in the stable, feed them, and brush them. She plays games, earns “horseshoes” to decorate her cottage as well as other activities. There are printable pages for her to do and each horse’s has their own stable. There’s also an art center (which is Bebe’s favorite place on the Bell Sara site) where little girls can create their own pictures and decorate their horses their way.

Hidden City Games, who publishes Bella Sara, are also the publishers behind the phenomenally successful trading cards such as Magic and Pokemon.

Beginning on November 6th there is going to be a virtual bash celebrating Bella Sara’s new baby. Members will get access to exclusive codes, downloads, games, and contests!

I’d love for you to get in on the party, so I’m giving away four packs of trading cards to one winner (that’s 28 cards)!

If you’d like a chance to win these cards, you can leave me a comment telling me why you think this is a great gift for a little girl.

For bonus entries, you can tweet about it on twitter or blog it at your blog.

Each of those earns you one entry. For every one you do, come back here and let me know what you did with a separate comment for each entry so I can notify you if you win. Make sure you leave me a valid email address with your comment. I’ll tally the entries and choose a winner through random.org.

The giveaway ends at 12:00 AM EST on November 2nd and I’ll post the winner here on Monday.

Good luck and Thanks for entering!

Such a cute giveaway! I don’t know too many little girls who don’t love horses. I know I did when I was young! Sadly, back then we didn’t have the whole virtual pet phenomenon to satisfy us.

I have boys, but we have been invited to so many of their classmates’ birthday parties. In fact, we have two little girls’ parties to attend this week! These cards would make an excellent gift to take to a birthday party for a girl in their class.

Well. I don’t have a child as yet but i do have a niece and this trading cards would be great for a little girl as visually, you’ve got to admit, this are such a work of art! Even little girls can tell too! Plus Bella Sara makes the girls fall in love with the horses even more by placing unique codes on the cards. In this time & age, internet is becoming more accessible & children love interactive stuff so this would definitely appeal to little girls, especially when she brushes the horse on the net. Great giveaway! Thanks for it!

I like how the site and the cards function together. Young girls and nurturing are such an important facet of becoming women who care. The points that they can attain on the site by helping the foals grow and learn are a wonderful concept. Please enter me in your delightful drawing. My niece would enjoy receiving these at Christmas time. Thanks, Cindi
