Trick or Treat: Babyspot CMO Style

Halloween is one of my most favorite Holidays.

Unfortunately though, I’m not a haunted house kind of girl. I’ll stand outside and watch the rest of you go in, but ask me if I’m going and I suddenly need to run back to the car for something; don’t worry, I’ll catch up later on. (Yeah. It’s like that).

One thing I do get into is trick or treating. Call it the chocolate junkie in me. Call it the one time of the year I earn my candy by toting around kids who don’t want to give up and go home but don’t want to walk the last block either. Call it whatever you want but I like the candy portion.

I’m not into the occult but I do believe in ghosts.. I also believe that with the right amount of chocolate you can bribe a ghost to go away too.

However, because we are in the country and the Amish don’t trick or treat, I never get to give out candy anymore. I’ve come up with a solution to that and it makes me all giddy, like a cheap pixie stix sugar rush, that I get to share it with you. peanuts 2007 halloween

Tomorrow night I’ll be hosting part two of the Halloween version of Babyspot.com’s Chief Mom Officer Chat, appropriately titled Tricks and Treats. I’d love for you to stop in and participate because throughout the show I will be giving things (some yummy) away!

Want to know how to enter? Of course you do!

head over to Babyspot.com and register between NOW AND TOMORROW NIGHT AT 8PM EST. Once you’re registered, leave me a comment on my profile. If you’re already registered – AWESOME! Just leave me a comment.

The giveaway is open to US Residents only and each comment must include your real name (because some of you out there like to get creative and make up member names like OBIE1252hike and I’m not reading that!).

HOWEVER – It can’t be any old comment!

OH NO! This is Halloween, so I want to hear about:

  • your favorite Halloween costume as a kid.
  • a funny Halloween story (or a scary one).
  • costume ideas for kids and adults (let’s keep it clean).

Any of those will get you an entry. I’m not telling you what I’m giving away (do you call around to each house before trick or treat to see what everyone’s giving out? I didn’t think so).

If I get enough comments and entries, I might put on some frightful make up. (I look frightful without it so maybe I should leave it off?)

If you’re not a Babyspot.com member but you’d like to share your stories, feel free to email them to me at nikki@babyspot.com – I might have something for you as well. ;)

Don’t forget to watch tomorrow night’s show at 10PM EST to hear your story and see if you’ve won. I’ll contact all the winners to get your information so don’t worry if you can’t make it.

Babyspot’s Chief Mom Officer Chat Tricks and Treats will be live tomorrow night at 10PM EST and you can watch it by clicking THIS LINK.
