I’m geek by accident.
No it’s true, techy things did not always light my fire and I usually saved anything harder than turning on the computer to my dad.
So to suggest that I’m geeky or even a “tech savvy” mom makes me laugh a little.
Alright… it makes me laugh out loud till I cry.
But I love phones. I’ve been a fan of the telephone since I was three years old and I have the picture to prove it!
I’ve been ready for a good conversation for as long as I can remember.
The telephone is still my main source of communicating with people. I’m very rarely without my BlackBerry and after taking the leap from a cell phone to a smart phone… Well, let’s just say I’m never going back.
Last week I received a Palm Pre Plus by Verizon Wireless and over the next few weeks, I’ll be putting it through the paces, experimenting with different features and apps, and sharing the whole experience with you. So far I’m over the moon with it’s slick, sophisticated design (that makes even this harried mom look cool) and it’s numerous apps and functions.
I’m very excited to be venturing out of my comfort zone. I’ve had my BlackBerry for two years now so moving to a Palm Pre Plus, which runs on its own operating system will be a very fun (and interesting experience).

Did you get it to update to the newest OS yet? I’m loving my video camera abilities these days. Soooo happy they finally implemented that!
