That said, for the last two weeks I’ve been trying out Mirra brand products. Now all of you that come here on a daily or even weekly basis KNOW I am NOT a beauty blogger. I’m more of an anti-beauty blogger. However, I like to try new things and anything that will end my quest for quality moisturizer (which has been my nemesis) makes me a happy girl.
I received Mirra’s shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, wrinkle reduction eye cream (apparently I am of that age now), body lotion, shower gel, sculpting gel (for my curls of course!) and daily deep moisturizing cream.
The one thing that surprised me from these products is that they are store brand. That’s right. They are from the Kroger Company family of products. I’m little more than stunned. I’ve often used store brand products and felt the difference in quality but not this time. Factor in that they are made from natural ingredients like olive oil, aloe, sunflower, red tea leaf, ginger, and grapefruit (a few of the ingredients listed in the products I tried), and I don’t feel like I’m toxing up my face, my body, or my hair.
It’s been a refreshing experience to try products for my body and skin that don’t weigh me down or feel like I’ve caked on a layer of gunk. You know what I’m talking about, right? I’m not a fan of products that make me feel like my moisturizer is a mask or feels heavy. The Kroger Co family has created products that despite a store brand name, makes me feel like I’ve used the most lavish products money could buy.
The only downside to the Mirra products is that I don’t have a Kroger store near me, which means my love affair with Mirra’s products will be short lived (unless I can find a friend who wants to ship them to me).
However, if you have a Kroger store near you, you can find out more about the Mirra beauty care product line and even a coupon for $5 off.
The Mirra brand products were sent to me courtesy of the Kroger Company. All opinions and editorial are my own. No further compensation was received.

I have a Kroger!! I’m going to print that coupon right now, cause I plan to buy some of this on my next trip there. Whoo Hoo!
