Sonicare 30 Day Challenge Replacement Heads Giveaway

I don’t have to tell you, or maybe I do… that today is National Fresh Breath Day. That’s right. All those gals running around BlogHer ’10 tasting the yummy gooodness that the events and parties have to offer are keeping sticks of gum close at hand because you never know what you might bite into! And meeting and greeting with Dragon Breath is way no cool for a blogger!

Anyway, now that I’ve gotten my obligatory BlogHer dig out of the way, Let’s be serious. It’s not every day that I participate in a campaign that has me so completely bowled over that I literally tell everyone I know. But if you’ve talked to me in the past 3 weeks, I’ve likely shared with you that we’re participating in the Sonicare 30 Days to Better Teeth Challenge (hashtag #sonicarechallenge on Twitter) and how much I’m surpised by the effectiveness of the brushes.

You see, I’m a “show me” girl. I like to be proven either right or wrong. If I don’t see the proof, I tend to not be a believer. When I purchased the brushes, I had a bit of sticker shock which of course launched me into show me mode. Because if I’m gonna spend $70 or $100 on a toothbrush, it had better do what it claims to do.

We are… in love with the brushes. Our smiles are brighter and I don’t have to have the “time to brush” fight that I used to have with the boys. In fact, I’ll have to buy additional ones for the rest of the kids so that they too can have their own sonicare toothbrushes but I believe it will be a well planned investment.

Here’s what we’re loving:

*** The kids love the tones that tell them when to switch areas of the mouth. In fact, Peanut (who is 4) is now brushing completely on his own without my help! A BIG STEP UP from 3 weeks ago!

*** Shorty likes the way the brush feels on his teeth. It’s also teaching him that he doesn’t have to try and “scrub” his teeth like he did before and to take his time. The brush will tell him when he’s done. No more rushing! (OK that’s something I like!)

*** Brian feels like it really gets in between the crevices or spaces of your teeth and that makes flossing easier. I agree; I have noticed a difference when I floss as well.

*** For me (and let’s get personal for a second); Despite my parents’ best attempt to make sure my teeth were in good shape growing up and making me endure four years of braces (there’s something I bet you didn’t know!) I inherited some gum issues anyway and I am developing gum disease. This means that my gums are sensitive and they are prone to bleeding when I brush. While I’m not thrilled about any of that, I no longer hate brushing. The Sonicare  toothbrush is sensitive to my teeth and therefore, no more bleeding gums.

Of course I still get treated by our dentist but I feel more confident knowing that my smile is brighter because the brush is actually removing the plaque. Not only that but from the first time I brushed with the Sonicare toothbrush, my teeth felt cleaner.

Every day I brush I see the replacement indicator change color on my brush. The blue is slowly fading away, keeping me on track for remembering when to replace the brush heads (something I was  bad about remembering to do in the past).

I want to help you remember to replace your Sonicare Toothbrush heads and so as part of my 30 Day Challenge, I’m giving away 2 replacement Sonicare brush heads of your choice!

I was recommended by my dentist. I switched to it and love it! The first few times I kind of drooled on myself, but I got the hang of it!

It had been recommended by my dentist for ages but I had bought another brand until my husband went and got one after a dentist appointment. Tried his and I was totally hooked and had to go get my own! Love it!

I switched to Sonicare because… well… honestly, I received one as a BzzAgent. But I was totally sold and now everyone in our family has one (including the kids) as well as my mom. I had always wanted one because I heard how great they were and once I got one, I cannot live without it!

I switched about a year and a half ago when I was starting to get a cavity every time I went to the dentist. I haven’t had one since!

I switched because my dentist reccommended it, and my family love it!
